Friday's homework

Here is the step-by-step instructions on your homework:

1. Pick a vocabulary word in the textbook. Yes, ANY WORD.

2. Draw or write the word in Bubble Letters...these are the kind that you can color inside.

3. Inside the bubble letters put either the definition or a picture to demonstrate the definition or the idea of the vocabulary word.

4. You will be graded on neatness, sticking to the actual definition and creativity.

Please make these colorful and fun, they are going on the wall as part of our living "Word Wall".

Attendance: You are expected to attend class each day. It is up to you to make sure that you are on time to class. If you are tardy, do not enter the classroom until you have gotten a tardy slip. When you enter you are expected to be as quiet and discreet as possible. Do not come in loud and disruptive. If attending class regularly is a problem, please let me know so that you and I can discuss it with your parents and an administrator.

Bellwork: Bellwork should be completed immediately upon entering the classroom. If you have all the questions and all the answers for each week, you will receive 100 points towards your homework. This means you must have the question, the answer choices and the correct answer for each day’s bellwork.

Classwork: Classwork must be turned in the day it is assigned for full credit. Partial credit is available for two class periods after the original class, as long as the original date of the assignment and the date it was turned in are both written on the top.

You may turn in any homework as long as we are still on that chapter/SPI. If you do not do your homework no grade will be given. If you do your homework, you get 100 points towards participation and a grade for accuracy.

Quizzes & Tests: Quizzes will be given at the end of an SPI, chapter test will be given at the end of chapters. Each may be retaken up to until you receive a 90+, unless you made a 90+ on the first attempt. You must make an appointment with Mrs. Kannady to retake.
