Monday: Macromolecules REVIEW and Lab Reports are due!!!

Tuesday: Macromolecules Test today

Wednesday - Friday: Thanksgiving Break
Remember to use this time to reflect on the blessings in your life and find things to be grateful for, maybe volunteer and help out someone less fortunate than you. I am thankful to have ALL of you in class and wish for you each a restful and joyful break with your families and friends. 

Reminder: Your cartoon or rap is due next Thursday & Friday...will you be ready?!

Week 6: Quarter 2

Monday: Introduction to Macromolecules!! Here are the notes.

Tuesday: ASVAB testing today (only for those on the list) Macromolecules continued!

Wednesday: Club Day!

We will have our project check point today. Please come PREPARED to work on your project and fill out your check point sheet, which can be found here. This form is going to be COUNTED as a GRADE. You are expected to be prepared to do this by now. You will also sign up for your presentation time today. If you do not sign up today, I will assign your time to you.

Here's the bell schedule for the morning:
1st period: 715-755
2nd period: 800-840
3rd period: 845-925
4th period: 930-1010
Club Time: 1015-1055

If you need to make something up, I will be staying after school on Wednesday. I have cheer practice, mock trial practice and a faculty meeting, so I will not be in my room, though I will be on campus.

Week 5: Quarter 2

Monday: Finish Notes

I have not finished your quizlet, it will be posted by 10am tomorrow. For now, please read over all your notes, the powerpoint is on last week's blog post. (11/11/14; I will send a remind101 when I post the link.) There are 2 sets on Quizlet, I'm not sure why it hates me...see you wednesday.

Tuesday: NO SCHOOL. Thank a veteran for that and your freedom. 

Wednesday: Progress Reports Issued today. Remember grades are earned, not given. We will take our quiz today!! (Little secret...It's coming almost ENTIRELY from those quizlet sets...shhhh, it's a bonus for those who get on the blog...like you're supposed to...)
If you are bringing candy for the candy lab friday, please comment on this post so that others can see. We need a total of 140 pieces of EACH candy.

****Community Conversation Tonite at WSHS in the Cafeteria. Free test grade when you attend and turn in your ticket and a 2 paragraph reflection on your experience.

Week 4, Quarter 2

Monday: I'm passing back everything that's graded, no scantrons though, I will most likely be running them during my planning period today.

Here's the link to the powerpoint I am using this week. I have linked TONS of resources in the powerpoint for us to do in class and for you to use to review at home. ENJOY!!! Also, THIS is a really informative video about evolution and biodiversity.

Tuesday is picture day. Please remember you MUST BE IN YOUR SCHOOL UNIFORM FOR PICTURES!!! I have attached a picture of the schedule, plan accordingly. 


Wednesday is the PLAN test. I have linked that schedule as well. My understanding is that you are going to the same rooms you went to for the PSAT. CHECK THE SCHEDULE. Any classes I see after the PLAN will be working on their projects so that no one misses anything. (Progress report period ends today, please make sure you have made up or turned in missing assignments at this point!!!)

Thursday: Finish up any remaining notes and we'll review for tomorrow. Hopefully we can get to my activity if we have not already....

Friday: QUIZ DAY!!!

Reminder: NEXT THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13th, is the Community Conversation with John Amaechi in the Wshs Cafeteria from 6-8p. Attendance and turning in proof and a 2 paragraph reflection will be considered a free test grade.
