4. The biological reasons for extinction.

5. The non-biological reasons for extinction.

6. The impact of humans over the last two thousand years...

Please be prepared to answer multiple choice questions about these topics on thursday.

Week 7: Homecoming and Environmental Change!

Week 7 Predict how a specific environmental change may lead to the extinction of a particular species. Explain how human activities can directly impact ecosystems both positively and negatively.

Fall Homecoming Dress-Up Days

Students, 

        Next week is Football Homecoming spirit week! Next Thursday, September 18th at 7:00 p.m., we will play the Hamilton Wildcats at the Fairgrounds. Below are the dress-up days and rules for each. Please keep in mind that there will be no pajamas allowed during the week and jeans are only allowed on certain days listed below.

Decades Day
Students will dress in pop culture from any decade. JEANS WILL BE ALLOWED.
Tuesday, September 16th
Patriotic Day
 Students will dress in red, blue, and white colors. They may decide to wear America themed apparel.
Wednesday, September 17th
 Class Distinction: Stereotypes
12th grade – Jocks
11th grade – Preps
10th grade – Artsy
9th grade – Nerds
JEANS WILL BE ALLOWED.
Ideas for each grade:
Seniors will dress as athletes or sports fans.
Juniors will dress as students at preparatory schools would.
Sophomores will dress like an artist or “hipster”.
Freshmen can wear glasses and slacks.
Thursday, September 18th
Spartan Spirit Day
Students will wear outfits full of green and gray to show school spirit! Students may wear their Homecoming Shirt if they purchased one.

Week 6: Ecosystems and Energy Systems

Howdy, Howdy!

Ready for Week 6??? Your progress reports come out this week on Wednesday!!

Here's the breakdown by day; including the cycle map we will be doing for each cycle. Under each day I have a link to the video to review each of the cycles.

Monday: Review of Oxygen/Carbon Cycle (which I think I told 1st and 2nd to label as the water cycle by mistake, MY BAD!!!) and begin Nitrogen Cycle
